How to use this tool

  1. Select your PDF file or files.
  2. Select page ranges, image format and render scale.
  3. Review the result and download it before clearing the workspace.

When this tool helps

Export selected PDF pages when you need a page illustration for a message, slide or website. The output is a still image of the page, so text is no longer directly editable as document text.

Choose the right settings

Page ranges
Use a single page such as 2, a range such as 2-4, or a list such as 1,3,5. Page numbers refer to the file's actual page positions, which may differ from printed page labels.
Scale and image format
A higher scale produces more pixels and uses more memory. PNG suits sharp text and diagrams; JPG may suit photographic pages. A larger scale cannot recover detail missing from a scan.

A practical example

Export pages 2 and 3 of a five-page PDF

  1. Select a five-page PDF and enter 2-3.
  2. Choose PNG for the text-heavy pages and begin with the available default scale.
  3. Download both page images separately or use the ZIP download.

The result contains two images, in the requested order. Check the actual file size and readability before placing them in your destination.

Common mistakes

Exporting every page unnecessarily
Select only the pages you need. A large range and high scale can consume substantial memory on a phone.
Entering printed page labels
A cover may count as page 1 even if the document starts its printed numbering later. Count from the first page in the file.

Tool limits

Up to 25 MiB and 100 pages per PDF. Password-protected PDFs are unsupported.

Frequently asked questions

Does a larger scale reveal new detail?

Scale increases output dimensions. Vector text usually stays sharp, but a scanned page cannot gain detail that was never captured.
