How to use this tool
- Select your PDF file or files.
- Choose one or two OCR languages that match the text, then start.
- Review the result and download it before clearing the workspace.
When this tool helps
Use conversion when you need to edit text from a PDF. A text-based PDF usually gives better results than a blurry scan. The tool rebuilds a Word document rather than recovering the original Word source.
Choose the right settings
A practical example
Edit a scanned Arabic letter
- Select a clear, upright scan saved as PDF.
- Choose Arabic for OCR, adding another language only if the letter contains substantial text in that language.
- Convert, then open the DOCX and compare the text with the PDF before editing.
Correct OCR mistakes before reusing the text. For an already text-based PDF, inspect the reconstructed paragraphs and tables; OCR settings do not guarantee the original layout.

Frequently asked questions
Is the original Word layout recovered?
PDF does not store the original Word structure. The output reconstructs editable text, tables and images. Clear scans work best; handwriting is unsupported.
When do my uploaded files expire?
Files and downloads become inaccessible one hour after job creation. Temporary files are removed by cleanup running every five minutes. Clearing the workspace releases its local previews.
