How to use this tool

When this tool helps

Convert DOC or DOCX when the recipient needs a PDF for reading or printing. PDF keeps a page-based view, but the conversion still needs review if the document uses unusual fonts or complex layouts.

Choose the right settings

Prepare the source document
Use the final saved Word file. Check headings, page breaks, tables and images before conversion so that the source itself is ready.
Inspect the PDF
Open the output and compare page breaks and important tables with the source. Unavailable fonts or complex formatting can change the layout.

A practical example

Share a one-page letter

  1. Save a Word letter containing a heading, paragraphs and a signature line.
  2. Upload the DOC or DOCX and start conversion.
  3. Download the PDF and check that the text is complete and the signature line is on the intended page.

Share the PDF only after reviewing it. Keep the Word file for later editing; the example describes a review workflow rather than guaranteeing identical rendering.

Common mistakes

Skipping the visual check
A successful conversion does not prove that every page matches the source. Review long tables and any page with important positioning.
Waiting beyond expiry
The server download expires one hour after job creation. Download your output promptly.

Tool limits

One DOC or DOCX up to 20 MiB; PDF output limited to 50 pages.

Frequently asked questions

Will it look exactly like Microsoft Word?

Rendering uses LibreOffice. Missing fonts and complex Word layouts can produce differences, so review the PDF before printing or sending it.

When do my uploaded files expire?

Files and downloads become inaccessible one hour after job creation. Temporary files are removed by cleanup running every five minutes. Clearing the workspace releases its local previews.
